The little details, answered. Anything else, we're one WhatsApp message away.

Is it real gold?
Every Pellington piece is 18k gold plated over a solid 316L surgical-grade stainless-steel core, so you get that rich, warm gold look with real everyday durability underneath. It's the finish that lets our jewellery stay beautiful wear after wear.
Will it tarnish or fade?
No, that's the whole point of Pellington. Our PVD 18k gold plating is made to resist tarnishing and fading, so your piece keeps its shine. We're so confident, every piece comes with a 1-year tarnish-free warranty.
Can I wear it every day, even around water?
Yes! Pellington jewellery is water and sweat resistant and made to be lived in, through your morning routine, a workout, a rainy day. Put it on and enjoy it.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
It suits most people. We build on 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, the grade used for body jewellery, chosen because it stays stable against skin instead of corroding the way plated brass does. The PVD gold on top is a hard, sealed layer, not a thin wash that wears through. It's made for all-day, every-day wear.
How do I find my size?
Most Pellington pieces are adjustable or one-size. For sized rings, pick your size on the product page and tap the size guide just under the size options to find your fit at home. Still unsure? Just message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you get it right.
What if I change my mind?
No problem at all, you have 30 days to return an unworn piece for a refund, store credit, or an exchange. Just message us and we'll make it easy. Full details in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Gold plated jewellery, made for daily wear in the UAE

Every Pellington piece in one place: rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and anklets, AED 79 to AED 199. All of it is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a PVD gold layer, which is the combination that lets gold plated jewellery survive a Gulf summer instead of turning after a month. Sixty-four designs, each named after an Arabic word chosen for its meaning.

What does 18k gold plated actually mean?

It describes the colour of the gold layer and the way it is applied, not the weight of gold you own. Ours is deposited by physical vapour deposition, which bonds the layer to the steel rather than dipping it in a bath. It is not vermeil, which needs a sterling silver base, and it is not gold filled, which needs the gold to be a twentieth of the item's weight. Gold plated is the accurate term and the one we use.

Does gold plated jewellery tarnish?

Not in the way people mean when they ask. Tarnish is a reaction between sulfur or chloride and the base metals in a piece, and stainless steel forms a thin self-repairing chromium oxide layer instead of the dark oxides that copper and silver produce. That makes these tarnish free jewellery in the sense that matters: they hold colour through heat and humidity. What can happen to any plated piece over years is that the layer thins where it rubs, which is abrasion rather than tarnish.

Can you shower and swim in it?

Yes. Waterproof here means everyday contact with water: washing your hands, rain, the shower, sweating at the gym. None of that needs the piece taken off. After a long swim in a pool or the sea, rinse in fresh water and dry, which is the same advice any jeweller would give about any finish. This is where anti tarnish jewellery Dubai brands tend to go quiet, so it is worth saying plainly.

How long does the plating last, and is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Plating life depends on friction more than time: a ring worn daily wears at the inner band before a pendant shows anything at all. We give a 12-month warranty against defects, covering discolouration, plating that lifts and settings that fail, and we do not offer a lifetime warranty because we would rather state a period we will honour. On skin, 316L is the grade used for body jewellery, chosen for how little it reacts, and free from lead and cadmium.

Where to start, and how it arrives

The cost of fine gold puts daily-wear jewellery out of reach for most people, and costume pieces turn skin green within a month. This sits between the two deliberately. Names and meanings are collected on The Names Behind the Pieces, and orders arrive in the signature forest-green box with a suede pouch, ready to give without wrapping. Free delivery across all seven emirates with no minimum, next-day before 5 PM, and Cash on Delivery, Tabby, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout.
