Which Ayatul Kursi necklace should I choose?
Choose by how much shine you want around the engraving. The Halo Necklace frames a 27 × 34 mm oval medallion with round zircon, on a 40 cm chain. The Medallion Necklace is a flat 25 mm disc with a polished rim and no stones, on a 45 cm chain. For the wrist, the Ayat ul Kursi Cuff is an open band in brushed satin. Are the Ayatul Kursi pieces waterproof?
Yes. Like every Pellington piece, they are waterproof, so they can stay on in the rain and at the gym. After a long swim in the pool or the sea, rinse them in fresh water and dry them.
What chain length do the Ayatul Kursi necklaces come on?
The Halo Necklace comes on a 40 cm cable chain and the Medallion Necklace on a 45 cm cable chain. Both have a 6 cm extender, so the Halo adjusts from 40 to 46 cm and the Medallion from 45 to 51 cm. The cuff is open, 62.2 mm across the outside, and slips on at the back, so there is no size to choose.
What are the Ayatul Kursi pieces made of?
18k gold plating, applied by PVD, on 316L stainless steel, free from lead and cadmium. They are not solid gold and have no resale value. The Halo Necklace is set with round zircon; the Medallion and the cuff have no stones.
How do delivery, payment and returns work?

What is written on each piece?

Ayat al-Kursi, also written Ayatul Kursi, is the Verse of the Throne: verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah. It is one of the most recited verses in the Quran, and many carry it as a verse of protection. The Sunburst and Calligraphy pendants carry the name of God as a single word, and the Drop carries sabr and shukr, patience and gratitude, two words usually spoken together.

Engraved, raised or cut through: how is the script made?

Ayat al-Kursi is a long verse, so it is engraved: cut into the metal so the lines sit below the surface and hold shadow. The Sunburst raises its calligraphy above an 18.3 mm face so the lettering casts its own shadow, while the Allah Calligraphy Necklace traces its strokes in zircon, so the calligraphy catches the light. On the Drop the two words are pierced through the metal, the lower one hanging on a 50 mm drop that wants an open neckline to itself.
