Tennis necklaces and chains at Pellington

Thirteen necklaces in 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, AED 79 to AED 199. Four are tennis necklaces: Leila, Ikhlas, Malakiyah and Dawlah, each running a continuous line of zircon along the collarbone. What necklace length should I choose?

Standard lengths give you the shape before the number does. A choker sits at 35 to 37 cm, a collar at 40, a princess at 42 to 46, a matinee at 50 to 55. How do you layer necklaces without them tangling?

Leave at least 5 cm between lengths, and never layer two chains of the same weight. A tennis necklace under a fine pendant works because one carries the light and the other carries the detail. Put the shortest on first and fasten each clasp at a slightly different point around the back so they cannot chase each other. Which chain type lasts longest?

Rope and woven links like Tulum are the most robust, because the load spreads across many small joins.
