At 40 cm the chain rests right at the collarbone. With the 6 cm extender it reaches 46 cm, sitting just below the collarbone — an easy way to layer it over a shorter chain.

About the Allah Sunburst Necklace
The name of God stands raised at the centre of a small round medallion, with a scalloped ring of zircon set around it like rays. The pendant is 18k PVD gold plated over 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, on a fine cable chain. Raising the calligraphy off the face rather than tracing it in stone gives the word its own shadow, which is what keeps it legible at this size.
Calligraphy raised, not traced
There are two ways to put Arabic script on a small pendant. One traces the strokes in stones so the word reads as light. The other lifts the letterforms proud of the surface so they read as form. This piece takes the second route, which suits a short word: at this scale a raised letterform stays sharp where a traced one blurs into its own sparkle.
What the scalloped edge does
The stones are not set in a smooth circle. Each sits in its own lobe, so the outline breaks the light into separate points rather than one continuous ring. That is the reason for the sunburst shape, and why a pendant this small still registers across a table.
18.3 mm, on 40 cm of chain
The medallion is 18.3 mm across and the whole necklace weighs 6.4 g, which is why it disappears in wear. The chain is 40 cm with six more in the extender, so it sits at the base of the neck or just below it. At this size it tucks under a collar, passes under a scarf without catching, and layers beneath a longer chain without the two competing for the same place on the chest.
