Description
The Khudra necklace centers on a sculpted gold pinwheel pendant, its swirling petals set with sparkling zircon stones around a vivid green marquise centre. Wear it on its own to let the green stone shine. "Khudra" means greenery in Arabic.

About the Khudra Pendant Necklace
Khudra hangs a sculpted pinwheel from a fine cable chain: swirling gold petals set with zircon around a vivid green marquise at the centre. The pendant measures 26 mm high, 26 mm wide and 3.5 mm deep, and the chain runs 40 cm with a 5 cm extender at 1.9 mm thick. It is 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
A pinwheel pendant, 26 mm across and 3.5 mm deep
Twenty-six millimetres square makes this one of the largest pendants in the range, and 3.5 mm of depth is what keeps it from looking like a coin. The petals are raised at different heights, so the pendant catches light on its edges as it turns rather than presenting one flat face to the room.
Green at the centre of the swirl
Putting the only coloured stone at the axis of a rotating pattern is what stops the design dissolving into sparkle. The eye finds the green first and reads the zircon as movement around it. Reverse that, with colour at the edges, and the pendant would have no centre at all.
Greenery, and the word behind it

The Khudra Pinwheel Earrings carry the same green marquise and the two are sold as a set. On length, 40 cm puts the pendant at the base of the neck and the full 45 drops it below the collarbone, which is the better position for a pendant this size. Water asks nothing of it: shower, sweat and swim, rinsing in fresh water after the sea, and the colour holds without tarnishing since the steel core forms no dark oxides.
