About the Durrah Chain Drop Earrings
A stud holds still at the lobe. This pair does not: three chains, three lengths, moving whenever you do.
Three stones on the bar, three on the chains
Each earring opens with a slim bar of three round bezel-set zircon, 17.4 mm across, flat on the lobe. Three fine cable chains fall from beneath it, each ending in a stone of its own: six to an earring, twelve to the pair. The chains run to different lengths, so the lower stones stagger rather than land level, and bezel setting leaves no raised claws to catch a shayla. To stay close to the lobe, the Raya crystal huggies are the opposite idea.
Length, weight and how they hang
Post to lowest stone is 8.0 cm, putting the longest chain near jaw height and the drops clear of the collarbone. The pair weighs 4.6 g, light for that length, because the chains carry almost no metal and what weight there is rests at the lobe.
