About the Amara Crystal Tennis Bracelet
Amara runs baguette-cut zircon the whole way round the wrist and puts one cushion-cut crystal at the midpoint. Baguettes are rectangles rather than points, so laid end to end they make a continuous strip of light with no gaps between stones. It fastens with a lobster clasp and an extender chain, and it is built in 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
Baguette cut, and why the line looks continuous
A round stone is widest at its middle, so a row of them always leaves small triangles of metal showing between neighbours. Rectangles do not: set side by side their long edges meet, and the eye reads one bar of light instead of a sequence. That is why a baguette line looks sleeker and less busy than a round-cut one at the same width.
The cushion stone at the centre
One larger square-ish stone in the middle stops the strip from being uniform, and it gives the bracelet a front. Without it a fully continuous line has no orientation and the clasp ends up wherever it lands. With it, the piece has somewhere to sit.

A stone-set line has more places for water to sit than a plain chain, so the habit is a rinse and a shake rather than a wipe. Showering, the gym and the sea are all fine. The 316L core is the grade specified for marine use because it resists the chlorides in sweat and sea air, and the gold is bonded to it by vapour deposition rather than dipped, so the colour holds without tarnishing.
