Beautiful sparkle and looks very luxurious. I bought it mainly for weddings and events and it definitely stands out. A little more dressy for everyday but for occasions it is perfect.

Where it sits
At 40 cm the chain rests right at the collarbone. With the 5 cm extender it reaches 45 cm, sitting just below the collarbone — an easy way to layer it over a shorter chain.
| Standard length | cm | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Choker | 35–37 | Base of the neck |
| Collar This piece | 40 | At the collarbone |
| Princess This piece | 42–46 | Just below |

Check it’s your length
Take a necklace you already own and love, undo the clasp, lay it flat and measure end to end. If it lands near 40–45 cm, Malakiyah Tennis Necklace will sit the same way for you.
Good to know
- Open necklines — V-necks, scoops, off-shoulder — show a collar length beautifully. Higher necklines suit longer chains.
- Layering more than one? Leave 4 to 5 cm between each necklace so they sit in clean tiers without tangling.
- Between two lengths? Go longer. It is easy to layer or double a longer chain, harder to make a short one reach.

About the Malakiyah Tennis Necklace
Malakiyah is the most heavily set piece Pellington makes: a continuous chain of 8A zircon with baguette-cut drops hanging along its length, so there is a line of round brilliance and a second row of rectangular light below it. It closes on an adjustable chain and is built in 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
8A zircon, and what the grade means
Zircon is graded by cut quality and clarity on an A scale, and 8A sits at the top of it: fewer inclusions, tighter facet alignment, more consistent colour across a batch. On a piece with this many stones the grade matters more than it would on a solitaire, because the eye picks up a single dull stone in a row of bright ones immediately.
Baguette drops along the line
Hanging rectangles below a line of round stones gives the necklace a second plane. The round stones hold the shape at the throat and the baguettes move against the skin below, so the piece reads as depth rather than as a single band. It is also what makes it dressier than any other necklace in the range.
Malakiyah is regal
Malakiyah means regal, from the root for a monarch, and it was given to the piece with more stones than anything else here. The meanings are collected on The Names Behind the Pieces.
The most stone-set piece here, and its care
More settings means more places for soap to sit, not more places to fail. Rinse it under a running tap rather than wiping it, and lay it flat to dry so the drops do not tangle. Showering, sweating and swimming are all fine and the plating keeps its colour without tarnishing, since the steel underneath forms none of the dark oxides copper-based metals do. Rinse in fresh water after the sea. The 12-month warranty covers discolouration, plating that lifts, stones that work loose and a clasp that fails. Free UAE delivery with no minimum, next day before 5 PM, and 30 days to return an unworn piece.
