At 42 cm the chain rests just below the collarbone. With the 5 cm extender it reaches 47 cm, sitting just below the collarbone — an easy way to layer it over a shorter chain.

The Zahra necklace hangs two chains from one clasp. Above sits a tennis strand of round zircon at 36 cm; below it a fine cable chain of 42 cm ends in a four-petal blossom. Crafted in 18k PVD gold-plated stainless steel, it is waterproof and tarnish-resistant, and closes with a lobster clasp and a 5 cm extender. The drop between them is fixed, so the pair wears as one piece. "Zahra" means blossom in Arabic.

About the Zahra Layered Tennis Necklace
Zahra puts two necklaces on one clasp. A 36 cm tennis strand of round zircon, each stone 2.1 mm and claw-set edge to edge, closes at the base of the throat; a 42 cm cable chain hangs below it and ends in a blossom 8.5 mm across. Both are 18k PVD gold plated over 316L surgical-grade stainless steel; together they weigh 5.5 g.
Two necklaces, one clasp
A layered piece exists to remove a decision. Chains bought separately have to be matched for length and gauge, and they spend the day twisting around each other. Here the drop is set at the workbench, closer than you would place two chains of your own, so the pair reads as one piece rather than as two.
Where 36 and 42 centimetres sit
36 cm is choker length: it closes around the base of the throat rather than resting on the collarbone, so the upper strand reads as part of the neckline. The 42 cm strand lands at the top of the sternum, low enough for the blossom to clear a crew neck, and a 5 cm extender lengthens both at once.
Zahra, the blossom
Zahra is the Arabic word for a blossom, the shape the lower chain carries: a small four-petal flower, its stones held in claws around a gold bead. The upper strand is a tennis chain, stone running continuously with no bare links between settings. Living with two chains
Store it flat or hung; two chains in a heap will find each other. Rinse and dry it after salt water or chlorine, which collect behind claw settings; more on that in jewellery care 101. Water is not a worry, since the gold is applied by PVD as a hard, sealed layer, not a thin wash. The 12-month warranty covers discolouration, plating that lifts, stones that work loose and a clasp that fails. Report a fault within 48 hours of arrival.
