Three easy ways to measure
1. A ring you already wear
Take a ring that fits the finger you are buying for. Lay it on a ruler and measure straight across the inside of the circle, edge to edge. Match that number to the Across column. This is the fastest and most accurate method. It works for gifting too: quietly borrow a ring they wear on the right finger.
2. A strip of paper
Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of thread. Wrap it around the finger, snug but comfortable, and mark where it meets. Lay it flat against a ruler. That measurement in millimetres is the Around number. One caution: do not pull it tight. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and pick a size between the two.
3. Our printable ring sizer
Print it at exactly 100% scale, never "fit to page". Check the bar on the sheet measures 5 cm, then place a ring you own over the circles until one matches its inside edge.

- Fingers are at their largest in the evening. Measure then, in a comfortably warm room.
- Your dominant hand runs slightly larger, and every finger is its own size. Measure the exact finger you are buying for.
- Index fingers run about a size larger than ring fingers. Pinkies run 1 to 2 sizes smaller.
- Measure twice and take the average.
- Between two sizes? Go up. A slightly loose ring is an easy fix. One that will not pass your knuckle is not.

About the Amarsi Trilogy Ring
Three round brilliant-cut stones across a single band: a centre stone of 8.9 mm with a smaller stone either side, each held in its own claw setting. The band is wide and plain where it meets the finger, so all of the detail sits at the top. It weighs 4.0 g in 18k PVD gold plating over 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, in sizes 6, 7 and 8.
Why a trilogy reads differently from a solitaire
A single stone pulls the eye to one point. Three pull it along a line, which is why a trilogy looks wider on the hand than a solitaire of similar stone weight, and why it tends to suit a shorter finger. Amarsi keeps its centre stone clearly dominant rather than matching all three, so it still reads as one ring with a focus instead of a row of equals. Beside the Diya solitaire, the difference is span, not height.
How large the stones actually are
The centre measures 8.9 mm across, roughly the width of a shirt button, and sits proud enough to catch light from the side as well as above. The two flanking stones are noticeably smaller and set a little lower, following the taper of the shoulders. Total weight stays at 4.0 g across all three sizes, which gives it substance without being tiring over a full day.
Living with a raised setting
Claw-set stones sit above the band rather than flush inside it, so they will find knitwear and hair in a way a bezel never does. The plating itself is unbothered by water, showers and the sea, because PVD bonds the gold to a steel core with no copper in it to react.
