About the Hayyat Tennis Bracelet
Hayyat is the classic form: round brilliant-cut zircon in a continuous line, each stone held in its own four-prong gold setting, joined so the whole thing articulates and drapes around the wrist. It fastens with a lobster clasp on a 5 cm extender chain, so a single bracelet covers 17 cm to 22 cm and you set it where it sits best. Built in 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
Round brilliant cuts in four prongs
The round brilliant is cut to return light straight back at the viewer, and prongs rather than a bezel leave the underside of each stone open so light can enter from below as well. That is the whole reason the setting looks fragile: it is doing optical work. Four prongs is the standard balance between holding the stone and hiding as little of it as possible.
How a tennis bracelet should sit
Snug enough that it does not spin, loose enough to slide roughly a finger's width along the wrist. A stone line worn slack rolls over and shows you its backs, which is the one way to make this design look wrong, and worn tight it stops draping. Aim for the middle, and let the extender find it for you one link at a time.

The clasp, the extender, and what to check
A lobster clasp springs shut on whichever link of the extender chain you choose, which is what makes one bracelet fit a 17 cm wrist and a 22 cm one. Hook it on the first link for the shortest setting and work out along the chain from there, and check each time that the clasp has closed around the link rather than resting against it. Water plays no part in any of this: shower, sweat and swim in it, rinsing in fresh water after the sea, and the plating keeps its colour without tarnishing.
