How it fits
Slide it on from the side at the narrowest part of your wrist, then gently press the ends together for a snugger fit or ease them apart for more room. Its 57.6 mm inner rim suits most wrists before any adjustment.
- Adjust gently and evenly with both hands — avoid bending it back and forth repeatedly.
- Keep the opening toward the underside of your wrist to hold the piece in place.

The Uqda cuff ties a single length of smooth gold wire into a soft sculptural bow at the front of the wrist, finished with delicate ball-tipped ends. About the Uqda Gold Bow Cuff
Uqda is a single length of smooth gold wire bent into a bow at the front of the wrist and finished with small ball tips at each end. There are no stones and no clasp. It is open at the back, which makes it the one genuine cuff in the range: everything else rigid here is a bangle, hinged or solid. The wire is 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
The only true cuff in the range
The distinction is worth being exact about. A bangle is a closed circle, whether it hinges open or slips over the hand. A cuff is a rigid piece with a gap in it, so it eases on sideways through the opening and can be squeezed gently to fit. Uqda is the only piece here built that way.
A 57.6 mm inner rim, and how a cuff is fitted
The inner rim measures 57.6 mm across, which suits most adult wrists before any adjustment. Because the back is open you are not committed to that number: slide it on through the gap rather than forcing it over the hand, and if it sits loose, press the two ends towards each other a few millimetres with the cuff off your wrist. Adjust once and leave it.

An open cuff, and where it wears
Ball-tipped ends exist so nothing sharp meets the wrist, and the tips are where a cuff shows wear first because they take the contact when it goes on and off. Beyond that: shower, sweat, swim, and rinse in fresh water afterwards. The gold is bonded by vapour deposition onto a steel core with no copper in it to darken, so it holds colour without tarnishing.
