Zareen Green Halo Ring
Zareen Green Halo Ring
An oval green stone sits in a fine claw setting at the center of this ring, ringed by a halo of clear pavé crystals that frame it in light. Crafted in 18k PVD gold-plated stainless steel on a slim adjustable band, it holds its shine through daily wear and resists tarnish, with Pellington engraved on the inner band. Zareen means golden, a fitting name for the warm gold halo cradling its green heart. Wear it as a vintage-inspired statement on its own or layer it with delicate bands.

About the Zareen Green Halo Ring
An oval green stone sits in a fine claw setting at the centre of the Zareen, ringed by a close halo of small clear crystals that frame it completely. The band behind is slim and adjustable rather than fixed, and Pellington is engraved on the inner face. It is 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, and it is one of only two rings here that are not sold in sizes.
What a halo does to a stone
A ring of small stones around a larger one makes the centre look bigger than it is, because the eye reads the whole cluster as a single shape before it separates the parts. On a coloured stone it does something else as well: the clear halo lifts the green, giving it a bright edge to sit against instead of letting it fade into gold. It is the oldest optical trick in jewellery.
Zareen, golden in Persian
Zareen means golden, and unlike most of the range the word is Persian rather than Arabic. It is listed with the others on The Names Behind the Pieces, where the handful of non-Arabic names are marked as such.
An adjustable band on a slim shank
The shank is open at the back and slim enough to ease apart or press closed with your fingers. Handle it by the halo end rather than the thin tips, set it once to the finger you want it on, and leave it. Because there is no size to choose, it is the piece to reach for when you are buying for someone whose measurements you do not know.
Green stone, chlorine and the sea
The stone is synthetic and claw-set, so pool chemistry and salt water do not affect it, and neither does the sun. The halo is the part to rinse, since a tight ring of small stones holds soap. Beyond that: shower in it, swim in it, sweat in it. The gold is vapour-bonded rather than dipped onto steel with no copper to react, so the colour holds without tarnishing. The 12-month warranty covers discolouration, plating that lifts and stones that come away. Free delivery anywhere in the UAE, no minimum, next day before 5 PM. The other green-stone piece is the Jadhbah Green Stone Ring; see the whole ring collection, and the UAE cost breakdown for the value question.
