About the Rimal Twisted Hoop Earrings
Rimal takes a hoop and works a rope twist into it, then runs pave crystal along the twist so the sparkle follows the spiral rather than sitting in a straight line. It measures 25 mm high and 24 mm wide, weighs 17 grams for the pair, and closes on a secure hinge. The metal is 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.
A rope twist worked into a hoop
A plain hoop gives you one continuous highlight. Twisting it breaks that into a spiral, so light travels around the circumference instead of sitting still on the outer edge, and the earring reads as textured from a distance where a smooth hoop reads as a gold line. Adding stones along the twist doubles the effect.
25 mm, and 17 grams to carry
This is a substantial hoop rather than a delicate one, and the weight tells you so before the diameter does. Seventeen grams across the pair sits comfortably for an evening and is noticeable by the end of a long day. It hangs and swings rather than gripping, which is the trade for the size.
