About the Yasmine Roman Numeral Bangle
Yasmine carries a band of Roman numerals cut clean through polished gold, so you see skin through the figures rather than a raised relief. The openwork runs the full circumference. It is a hinged bangle that clicks securely shut, built in 18k PVD gold plated 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, and it is one of the widest pieces in the range without being one of the heaviest.
Roman numerals cut through the band
Piercing rather than engraving is what makes the numerals legible from any angle and keeps the weight down on a band this wide. It also means the piece changes with what is behind it: against bare skin the figures read dark, against a pale sleeve they read light. A solid engraved band does the same thing all day.
A hinged bangle, despite the handle
Its web address says cuff and that is not right. Yasmine is a closed rigid circle that opens on a hinge and clicks shut with a clasp, which is a bangle. The distinction matters when you are choosing: a hinged bangle fits around the wrist, so a broad hand is no obstacle, and it cannot be squeezed to adjust the way a true cuff can.

Cut-through work is easier to keep clean than any recessed pattern, because water passes straight through the figures instead of pooling in them. Hold it under a tap, dry it, and it is done. Showering, the gym, the pool and the sea are all fine, and the plating holds its colour without tarnishing since the steel beneath contains nothing that forms dark oxides.
