Can I wear these pieces in the shower and at the gym?
Yes. Every piece has 18k gold plating, applied by PVD, on 316L stainless steel. It's made for hand-washing and wudu, rain, the shower and sweating at the gym, with no need to take it off.
Can I swim in them?
Chlorine and seawater are harsh on every finish, plated or solid gold. After a long swim in the pool or the sea, rinse your pieces in fresh water and dry them.
Is this real gold?

How fast is delivery to Dubai?
Most orders arrive within 2–3 days. Delivery is free on every order to all seven emirates, with a tracking link when your order ships. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tabby or cash on delivery.
What if the colour changes?
Every piece has a 12-month warranty against faults that show up in normal everyday wear: tarnishing or discolouration, plating that lifts or flakes, a clasp or setting that fails, or a stone that comes loose. Message us with your order number and clear photos or a short video. We'll ask you to send the piece back to check it, and a covered fault is exchanged for the same piece. Can I return it?
Yes. You have 30 days to send a piece back for a refund, store credit or an exchange. Full details are in our refund policy.

Waterproof jewellery at Pellington

Every piece in this collection has 18k gold plating, applied by PVD, on 316L stainless steel: rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and anklets from AED 79 to AED 169. They're made for everyday water in Dubai and across the UAE. Wash your hands or make wudu, get caught in the rain, shower, or sweat at the gym, with no need to take them off.

Why 316L stainless steel?

It contains molybdenum, which resists the salt in sweat, sea air and pool water, so the metal under the gold doesn't rust or darken in Gulf humidity. It's the grade used for surgical and marine steel, and it's very well tolerated by skin. If you have a diagnosed metal allergy, message us before you order.

How to judge any waterproof claim

"Waterproof" has no legal definition for jewellery, so each brand decides what it means. Before you buy anywhere, check the base metal and its grade, how the gold is applied, and whether the warranty covers colour loss. Looking after it

Put perfume, sunscreen and lotion on first and let them dry before your jewellery goes on. After a long swim in the pool or the sea, rinse your pieces in fresh water and dry them. Store them apart in their pouch, away from a humid bathroom shelf. Our jewellery care guide has the rest.
